Stretches for Higher Martial Arts Kicks
This page will help you to achieve higher martial arts kicks (i.e. the ability to strike an opponent's head with a roundhouse kick or side kick). While many lower body stretches will help the height of your martial arts kicks, you will have to do extra work on particular areas to maximize your kicking height. For example, for higher roundhouse kicks, you will need to work more on hip flexor stretches, groin stretches, etc. For higher axe kicks, you will have to do more hamstring stretches, groin stretches, etc. The videos below provide greater details regarding methods to develop high martial arts kicks.
