Bicycle Crunches for Taekwondo Core Strength
Bicycle crunches are another great
exercise to build your Taekwondo core strength. This page will
help you to learn how to perform a bicycle crunch. If you work
on strengthening your core (i.e. abdominal muscles and obliques),
you will improve your torque or twisting power. This will lead
to more powerful
"wind-ups" and thus stronger kicks & punches. However,
