Taekwondo Wrist Locks

In many self-defense situations, you will want to control and subdue an aggressor versus hurting the opponent (i.e. at school or work). The following videos show a variety of standing wrist locks and wrist control techniques. These techniques come from different martial arts such as Aikido and Hapkido. Remember that all self-defense techniques should be supervised by a trained instructor in order to avoid injuries to your practice partner.

For more self-defense techniques (i.e. against kicks, ground attacks, etc.), please visit the main Taekwondo Self-Defense page.
