Taekwondo Flip Video Camera

This is my personal review of the Flip video camera as a tool for Taekwondo. I use the Flip camera to review my Taekwondo training (my boys occasionally videotape my classes so I can fix any errors) and record my family's Taekwondo progress. For other product reviews, please visit our Taekwondo Product Reviews page.

  • Positives

    • Small (fits in your pocket).

    • Inexpensive (under $200).

    • Simple to use (very few buttons to push).

    • Easy to download videos onto your computer (via USB port) so you can easily post your awesome new kick on Facebook.

    • Improved image stabilization.

    • Free shipping at Amazon (look for the "free super saving shipping option").

  • Negatives

    • Limited zoom.

    • Action videos can be a little shaky even with image stabilization.

    • Limited video options (as the camera is geared towards simplicity & ease of use).

  • Conclusion

    • For under $200, you can't beat the Flip video camera. It is a great & inexpensive tool that can help you to improve your Taekwondo techniques and record your Taekwondo highlights (or comic failures).
