is an email interview that I did with one of the co-owners
of
Mooto Canada
(an affiliate of the Korean martial art equipment company Mooto):
Why should Taekwondo students consider Mooto products?
Since I have been involved with Mooto and Tkd I have seen
numerous different items, when I compare for quality i believe
that Mooto brand has the edge on quality, we lose because of not
been very well advertised through the TKD world.
What makes your online store unique versus Amazon and other
larger online retailers?
What you see is what you get our pictures of items are originals
and when posted you will be able to click for a different view,
my business partner keeps online store up to date has accurate
as possible, there is only my partner and I that view orders and
process them, and numerous phone contacts if office line not
answered my cell # is posted for any Q/A.
How did your company become the Mooto franchise in Canada?
My partner at the time was looking for something new in TKD
equipment and when he made his homework to see if would do good
for Canada he didn’t wait to jump for the opportunity, and 8
years later we are still in business.
What is it like working with a Korean martial arts company?
Language barrier is 1 of the issues but email works great when
its translated, words get crossed but in the end we understand
each other.
How is Mooto better than global brands such as Adidas?
The big name is always better received in any sport but i
believe and seen that Mooto can compete in the industry if we
keep on making good product
What is the most popular Mooto product ordered from your store?
I can’t lie but our all our black belt uniforms are very good
and the numerous shoes, protective gear, and all of the sparring
gear, don’t be shy go on line and see for yourself.
Are you a student/instructor of the martial arts?
I was a martial artist but i got involved more when my son
started TKD 11 years ago, then when approached by my Business
partner to get involved with him in a school I was thrilled.
Is there anything else that you would like to tell us about
Mooto?
I would like to say to parents and serious martial artists if
you never seen and heard of our Mooto product go on line at
