Taekwondo Knife Hand Strike

A knife hand strike uses the side of the hand to strike an opponent (i.e. their neck). This is the famous "Karate chop" seen in movies. While the video below covers Karate knife hand strikes, it does illustrate how you can effectively use this hand technique in Taekwondo.

For other hand strikes, please visit our main Taekwondo Punches page.
